The CAS Exhibition on Wednesday, 11 March, was organised and run by the Grade 12 students to show to parents, staff and other students examples of their work in Creativity Activity and Service (CAS), a component of the International Baccalaureate (IB). Students prepared displays, provided musical accompaniment and delicious food to accentuate and exemplify the work they have done. Over the 18 months of the CAS programme, all students have regularly participated in specific, chosen experiences involving creativity, activity and service. Much of their best, most satisfying work has been when they have worked with the wider community such as preserving wildlife areas with Pro Natura and fundraising with St Ursula’s Church in Bern. I am immensely pleased and proud of the students and I think the work they presented on Wednesday will act as inspiration for upcoming CAS students.
